1. About Neural Ninjas
AI RunCoach is a service provided by Neural Ninjas, registered in the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce number: 42051553. Legal and privacy contact via our contact page.
2. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use AI RunCoach. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Neural Ninjas reserves the right to remove accounts of minors without notice.
3. No medical or professional advice
The content, training plans, recommendations and information provided through AI RunCoach are for informational purposes only. AI RunCoach is not a substitute for medical, physiotherapy or other professional advice. Always consult a physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting a new training programme, especially if you have existing health conditions or injuries.
4. Sports risks and liability waiver
You expressly acknowledge that sport and running involve inherent risks, including but not limited to muscular injuries, joint injuries, exhaustion, cardiovascular conditions and, in exceptional cases, serious injury or death. You participate in sporting activities entirely at your own risk. Neural Ninjas, its directors, employees, agents and partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness, damage, loss or death arising from or connected with the use of AI RunCoach or the execution of training plans.
5. Service availability and quality
AI RunCoach is provided "as is" and "as available". Neural Ninjas strives to provide an uninterrupted and error-free service but does not guarantee continuous availability or the absence of bugs.
6. Changes to functionality
Neural Ninjas reserves the right at any time to add, modify or remove functionality without prior notice. Material changes to core functionality will be communicated by email to active subscribers.
7. Accounts
Neural Ninjas reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts where there is cause to do so, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, abuse of the service or fraudulent conduct.
8. Subscriptions, payments and right of withdrawal
AI RunCoach offers a free 30-day trial, followed by a monthly or annual automatically renewing paid subscription.
Right of withdrawal: Under EU consumer rights law, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By purchasing a subscription and thereby specifically requesting immediate access to the digital content of AI RunCoach, you acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal for that specific purchase, in accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
Cancellation must be made before the renewal date via the account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neural Ninjas's liability is limited to the amount paid by the user to Neural Ninjas in the twelve months preceding the damage event. In no event shall Neural Ninjas be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data or reputational damage.
10. Intellectual property
All content, software, algorithms, brand names, logos and other materials forming part of AI RunCoach are the property of Neural Ninjas or its licensors. Copying, distributing or using these without the express written consent of Neural Ninjas is prohibited.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district of Amsterdam, unless mandatory law provides for another court.
12. Changes to these Terms
Neural Ninjas reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be notified by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

2. Leeftijdsvereiste
U moet minimaal 18 jaar oud zijn om gebruik te maken van AI RunCoach. Door een account aan te maken bevestigt u dat u aan deze leeftijdsvereiste voldoet. Neural Ninjas behoudt zich het recht voor accounts van minderjarigen zonder waarschuwing te verwijderen.
3. Geen medisch of professioneel advies
De inhoud, trainingsschema's, adviezen en informatie die via AI RunCoach worden aangeboden zijn uitsluitend bedoeld voor informatieve doeleinden. AI RunCoach is geen vervanging voor medisch, fysiotherapeutisch of ander professioneel advies. Raadpleeg altijd een arts of andere gekwalificeerde zorgverlener voordat u een nieuw trainingsprogramma start, met name bij bestaande gezondheidsklachten of blessures.
4. Sportrisico's en aansprakelijkheidsvrijwaring
De gebruiker erkent uitdrukkelijk dat sporten en hardlopen inherente risico's met zich meebrengen, waaronder maar niet beperkt tot spier- en gewrichtsblessures, uitputting, hart- en vaataandoeningen en in uitzonderlijke gevallen ernstig letsel of overlijden. U neemt deel aan sportactiviteiten volledig op eigen risico. Neural Ninjas, haar directie, medewerkers, agents en partners zijn niet aansprakelijk voor enig letsel, ziekte, schade, verlies of overlijden dat voortvloeit uit of verband houdt met het gebruik van AI RunCoach.
5. Beschikbaarheid en kwaliteit van de dienst
AI RunCoach wordt aangeboden "zoals het is" ("as is") en "zoals beschikbaar" ("as available"). Neural Ninjas streeft naar een continue en foutvrije dienst, maar geeft geen garantie op ononderbroken beschikbaarheid of afwezigheid van bugs.
6. Wijzigingen in functionaliteit
Neural Ninjas behoudt zich te allen tijde het recht voor om functionaliteit toe te voegen, te wijzigen of te verwijderen, zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving. Wezenlijke wijzigingen in de kernfunctionaliteit worden via e-mail gecommuniceerd aan actieve abonnees.
7. Accounts
Neural Ninjas behoudt zich het recht voor om accounts te suspenderen of permanent te verwijderen indien daartoe aanleiding bestaat, waaronder schending van deze voorwaarden, misbruik van de dienst of frauduleus gedrag.
8. Abonnementen, betalingen en herroepingsrecht
AI RunCoach biedt een gratis proefperiode van 30 dagen, gevolgd door een maandelijks of jaarlijks automatisch verlengend betaald abonnement.
Herroepingsrecht: Consumenten hebben op grond van de Europese richtlijn consumentenrechten normaal gesproken een herroepingsrecht van 14 dagen. Door een abonnement te kopen en daarmee expliciet te verzoeken om onmiddellijke toegang tot de digitale inhoud van AI RunCoach, bevestigt u dat hiermee uw herroepingsrecht voor die aankoop vervalt, conform artikel 16(m) van EU-richtlijn 2011/83/EU.
Opzegging dient te geschieden vóór de verlengingsdatum via de accountinstellingen of door contact met ons op te nemen. Bij opzegging behoudt u toegang tot het einde van de lopende betaalperiode.
9. Aansprakelijkheidsbeperking
Voor zover wettelijk toegestaan is de aansprakelijkheid van Neural Ninjas beperkt tot het bedrag dat de gebruiker in de twaalf maanden voorafgaand aan de schadegebeurtenis aan Neural Ninjas heeft betaald. Neural Ninjas is in geen geval aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade, gevolgschade, gederfde winst, verlies van gegevens of reputatieschade.
10. Intellectueel eigendom
Alle content, software, algoritmen, merknamen, logo's en andere materialen die onderdeel zijn van AI RunCoach zijn eigendom van Neural Ninjas of haar licentiegevers. Het is niet toegestaan deze te kopiëren, te verspreiden of te gebruiken zonder uitdrukkelijke schriftelijke toestemming van Neural Ninjas.
11. Toepasselijk recht en geschillen
Op deze voorwaarden is uitsluitend Nederlands recht van toepassing. Geschillen worden voorgelegd aan de bevoegde rechter in het arrondissement Amsterdam, tenzij dwingend recht een andere rechter voorschrijft.
12. Wijzigingen in de voorwaarden
Neural Ninjas behoudt zich het recht voor deze voorwaarden te wijzigen. Gebruikers worden via e-mail op de hoogte gesteld van wezenlijke wijzigingen. Voortgezet gebruik na kennisgeving geldt als aanvaarding van de gewijzigde voorwaarden.
